Job SummaryThe incumbent supervises, reviews, and coordinates corporate SG&A journal entries, intercompany entries, account reconciliations, and analysis. They support accounting processes and cross‑functional projects, and train two accountants to maintain high work efficiency, competency, and flexibility.
Matrix Responsibilities- Provide leadership, guidance, coaching, and process oversight for corporate accounting.
- Direct individuals regarding their roles to meet company objectives and the department’s corporate goals.
- Empower and promote the proper level of responsibility and authority for growth and decision‑making.
- Demonstrate integrity, continuous self‑development, and knowledge of FASB & AICPA governing bodies.
- Develop strong relationships across management and promote the corporate controller’s group.
- Encourage cross‑involvement between people and groups in a matrix organizational structure.
- Coordinate and review journal entries, account analysis, and general ledger control procedures.
- Coordinate and review preparation of management reports.
- Prepare and review 10K and 10Q footnotes as needed.
- Prepare monthly statement of cash flows.
- Promote greater analysis skills across the finance team.
- Initiate, research, and document improvements to current methods and procedures.
- Perform or direct special projects, including cross‑functional team involvement.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or equivalent.
- CPA and/or MBA preferred.
- Minimum of five years of accounting experience with supervisory background.
- Knowledge of automated accounting software systems (SAP, BPC preferred).
- PC literacy and strong Microsoft application skills.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
The estimated base pay for this position is $91,500 - $120,700. Base pay may be influenced by education, training, skills, qualifications, and experience.
In addition to base pay, an incentive program and a comprehensive benefits package are available, including medical plans, health savings, dental and vision, 401(k) with employer contribution, life and disability insurance, paid time off, and flexible work arrangements.
