1st shift
:
Monday - Friday 5:00am - 1:30pm

2nd shift
:
Monday - Thursday 1:00pm - 10:30pm, Friday 2:00pm - 6:00pm

FLSA Status: Non-Exempt

Pay Rate: $19 - $23 per hour, depending on experience and shift

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Operate various metal cutting machines such as CNC, water jets, and bandsaws. Set up machines based on job requirements, ensuring accurate dimensions and specifications.
  • Load and unload raw materials and finished products onto and from cutting machines and storage racking, ensuring proper alignment and secure clamping to prevent cutting errors.
  • Inspect finished pieces for adherence to specifications and quality standards. Make adjustments to machines as necessary to maintain precision and quality.
  • Adhere to housekeeping and 5S standards.
  • Report and troubleshoot any malfunctions or issues with machinery.
  • Adhere to all safety guidelines and protocols, using personal protective equipment (PPE) such as safety boots, eye protection, and arm protection as required.
  • Maintain accurate records of production activities, including machine settings, materials used, and time spent on each job. Document any issues or deviations from standard operating procedures.
  • Coordinate with shift leads, operations lead, quality control, and maintenance personnel to ensure a smooth workflow. Communicate effectively with team members and management regarding job progress and challenges.
