Creative work is performed within the FASTSIGNS Center sign production area that is fully equipped with top‑of‑the‑line sign‑making equipment. As a Production Specialist, you will be responsible for all aspects of the physical production of signs, which includes preparing substrates and applying vinyl according to written instructions and under general direction. You must also mount and/or laminate prints, proofread signs, and conduct quality assurance to ensure the efficient production of quality, accurate signs.

The ideal candidate is self‑motivated, with problem‑solving skills who pays very close attention to accuracy and detail. Comprehensive training in all aspects of this position will be provided.

• Follow a layout to place computer‑generated vinyl or full‑color graphic images on a pre‑determined substrate or medium.
• Prepare substrates for application, which may include cutting, painting, laminating, cleaning and maintaining the substrates for vinyl application.
• Weed excess vinyl from computer‑cut images.
• Work in the field performing installations to vehicles, building interiors and exteriors.
• Perform quality assurance measures pre‑ and post‑production.
• Perform finishing operations such as laminating, encapsulating and/or mounting of printed pieces.
• Report inventory levels and stock to be reordered to the center manager/production manager or franchise partner.
• Help unload raw materials and clean and maintain storage areas.
• Work on different projects simultaneously.
• Establish and maintain effective team relationships with all support departments.
• Follow all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes.

• High school diploma or GED required; advanced education degree preferred.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Basic math skills.
• Able to work well under pressure, outputting high‑volume, high‑quality work.
• Ability to use light power equipment.
• Able to stand for long periods of time.
• Must have the flexibility to lean over a waist‑high table and use back‑and‑forth hand motions to apply vinyl letters and graphics to a substrate.

Compensation: $38,000.00 – $45,000.00 per year.
