** Salary/Pay Rate/Compensation: $18.50/hour*
* ** Shift: 2nd shift, 2 pm - 10:30 pm*

** What's a typical day as Production Technician I? You'll be:*
* + Setting up and operating various types of automatic and semi-automatic mass finishing equipment (e.g., Electropolish, harperizing, sand blasters, tumbling, degreasing)

+ Performing highly repetitive bench assembly and diagnostic operations on small mechanical units or components, using hand tools, assembly jigs, and fixtures

+ Conducting laser etching and identification operations on instruments, cassettes, handles, and machine parts

+ Executing repetitive heat treating operations, including Rockwell hardness tests and documentation

+ Performing functions in the Ultrasonic cell

+ Buffing, polishing, and grinding work pieces to maintain contour, edges, and dimensions

+ Operating all assigned equipment per work instructions, verifying specifications, and keeping equipment operational

+ Maintaining supplies inventory and miscellaneous logs; retrieving blueprints and work instructions via computer system as needed

+ Following all OSHA and company-specific guidelines for safety

+ Completing other responsibilities as assigned

+ Can follow established procedures and work under close to general supervision

+ Are detail-oriented and able to visually detect defects in products

+ Have the ability to work in a repetitive production environment and develop proficiency in assigned operations

+ Are comfortable working the 2nd shift (2 pm - 10:30 pm)

+ Have a high school diploma or equivalent (preferred)

+ Previous experience in manufacturing or production is a plus, but not required
