Mechanical Assembler

Job Description

We are seeking a hands-on, detail-oriented Mechanical Assembler to join our manufacturing team. This role builds industry-leading tube processing equipment across mixed product lines, balancing mechanical assembly and machining duties throughout the workday. The assembler works from blueprints, schematics, and work instructions to produce precise components, subassemblies, and complete systems while supporting basic testing and CNC operations. Reporting to a production supervisor, this position works independently with periodic oversight and collaborates with a cross-functional engineering team.

Extensive training is provided;
Spanish-speaking ability is a strong plus. No travel is required.

Responsibilities

• Assemble mechanical components, subassemblies, and full systems.
• Read and follow blueprints, schematics, and work instructions.
• Integrate subassemblies into complete tube processing equipment and mixed product lines.
• Assist with CNC machinery setup and perform basic machining tasks.
• Operate hand tools, power tools, and other shop equipment.
• Inspect components using precision measurement and mechanical inspection techniques.
• Perform basic functional testing and troubleshoot assembly issues.
• Support production activities and comply with work instruction requirements.

Preferred Qualifications

• Entry-level experience in mechanical assembly.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Knowledge of mechanical assembly, blueprint reading, and CNC machining.
• Experience with precision measurement, hand tools, and power tools.
• Understanding of mechanical inspection and troubleshooting.
• Strong attention to detail and teamwork skills.
• Spanish-speaking ability is a strong plus.
