Licensed Practical Nurse – Part Time (Morning / Evening Shift)

This position is responsible for providing licensed nursing services to residents, following the guidelines provided by Senior Lifestyle Corporation.

Job Description

• Pay rate: $36.00 per hour
• Part time during morning/evening shifts, every other weekend
• Responsible for medication administration for residents in compliance with Federal & State regulations and Senior Lifestyle Corporation guidelines
• May be responsible for admissions of new residents, including all assessment and documentation
• Responsible for completing acute and long‑term care plans or service plans
• May be responsible for clinical system tracking (e.g., wounds or infection control) under the direction of the director
• Provide general consultation regarding health‑related concerns within the community
• Notify physicians and/or family members of any change in resident’s health and provide proper documentation
• Respond quickly to all emergencies
• Maintain close communication with all departments and staff members
• Provide educational meetings for residents and staff
• Maintain confidentiality of residents’ and prospective residents’ information
• May be responsible for discharges, assessments, and clinical documentation as needed

Qualifications

• Education:
  
  Training from an accredited nursing program and an active Licensed Practical Nurse license in the state of practice
• Experience:
  
  1+ years in senior care or related field
• Certification: CPR certified
• Language:
  Acceptable proficiency in English
• Computer:
  Basic computer skills
• Skills:
  
  Ability to work as part of a team, handle multiple tasks safely and effectively
• Personal attributes:
  High tolerance for working under pressure and handling critical situations calmly
