An exciting opportunity awaits an experienced RN or LPN to make a meaningful impact in a school environment. A local educational community seeks a compassionate, attentive nurse to provide 1:1 care for a student with complex medical needs during the school day. Youll play a vital role in supporting the wellbeing, independence, and school experience of this student, offering both medical skill and a warm presence.

This contract position begins as soon as possible and continues through June 4, 2027, with a full-time schedule of 32.5 hours per week (8:30 a.m. 3:40 p.m. daily). Flexibility is essential, as care needs may evolve based on the students ongoing health and attendance.

• Current RN or LPN license (Illinois)
• Active CPR and BLS certifications
• Prior experience in a school setting preferred
• Demonstrated proficiency with G-tube feedings and care for students with complex medical needs
• Compassion, patience, and dedication to supporting student health
• Ability to adapt to changing care requirements

• Deliver 1:1 nursing care throughout the school day for a student requiring G-tube feedings and specialized support
• Monitor and document the students condition, responding promptly to changes or emergencies
• Engage and collaborate with educators, therapists, and parents to support the students IEP and overall wellbeing
• Maintain a safe, nurturing, and inclusive environment in the classroom or throughout the school campus
