Sunset Foods is a neighborhood supermarket, dedicated to providing the finest customer service found anywhere. Responsibilities:
Use deli slicers to prepare and slice meats, cheeses, and other deli products to customer specifications.
Help customers at the deli counter by answering questions, providing recommendations, and assisting with orders.
Maintain a clean and organized deli case, ensuring products are attractively displayed.
Rotate stock to ensure freshness and quality of deli items.
Monitor and maintain food safety standards, including proper food handling and temperature control.
Assist with stocking and replenishing the deli counter.
Follow all company guidelines and food safety practices.
Perform other duties as assigned.
No prior experience required; on-the-job training provided.
Strong communication skills and a friendly, customer-focused attitude.
Ability to operate deli slicers and other kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
Ability to follow and scale recipes accurately.
Ability to weigh and package products neatly and accurately.
Ability to stand for long periods and work in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds.
Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings.
Starting Pay: $16.00 - $16.50 per hour (depending upon experience
