IT Specialist, Data Science Manager
Join our team as the Protective Services Manager reporting to the Senior Manager Physical Security. In this role, you will operate in a multi-functional capacity to support the safety and security of executives. This includes safety and security support for work-related travel and conferences. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining an overall security program that includes a comprehensive set of procedures, practices, and security measures to ensure the safety and protection of our executive team.
This position is ideal for candidates who are experienced in physical security, executive protection, and travel security and who prioritize customer services, discretion, and teamwork—this is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact.
This role is hybrid on-site at our Northbrook, IL office (3) days a week
- Contribute to the development and implementation of security policies, procedures, and training programs to enhance executives' overall security at work, during work-related travel, and at conferences.
- Conduct risk assessments and advance planning for personnel to include identifying and mitigating potential threats.
- Develop and implement a comprehensive transportation security strategy.
- Advise executives on security measures as needed.
- Collect, analyze, and disseminate threat information in a timely manner.
- Respond to emergencies and render aid in accordance with training and experience.
- Stay informed about emergency security technologies, trends, and best practices to enhance security measures and adapt to changing threats continuously.
- Liaise with local, state, federal, and international authorities as needed.
- Conduct investigations and incident response activities in collaboration with relevant authorities, ensuring prompt resolution of security incidents and implementation of preventative measures.
- Exercise sound independent judgment and an appropriate sense of urgency, as well as flexibility.
- Assist in the coordination and security planning of travel security and conferences, ensuring all security and logistical aspects are meticulously planned and executed.
- Must be available to support a work schedule that may vary at times to include nights, weekends, and holidays.
