Adjutant - Office of the Commandant
Fulfills the mission of Norwich University by serving as the principal administrator for cadet personnel systems, data management, and records. Responsible for the management and integrity of all non-academic cadet records, including training and personnel documentation. Ensures cadet administrative processes, duty assignments, housing, promotions, evaluations, awards, and recordkeeping are executed accurately, on time, and consistently.

Bachelor's degree required. Military experience is a plus, particularly in personnel, adjutant, or S1 functions. Demonstrated strong competency in administrative management, and the knowledge or ability to learn Banner and Ellucian SAS, with strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Demonstrated skills in leadership, mentorship, and training. Effective written and verbal communication skills. Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.
Must meet uniform wear standards per Army Regulation 670-1. Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, SharePoint, Teams, and Outlook). Able to sit, squat, reach, push, pull, and manipulate related equipment; lift 15 pounds; travel outdoors to various parts of the campus. Available for early mornings, evenings, and weekends.
Environmental Conditions:
Indoor work at a computer station and outdoor work in varied weather. Medium level of exposure to noise, dust, fumes, vibrations, and temperature changes.
