Position: Adjunct Faculty - MSN NP Programs - Norwich University
Job Description:

* Teaching intensive, adjunct nursing faculty position, responsible for educating MSN students in both the classroom and clinical settings.

* Engages in service to the school and university, and the profession.

* Participates in faculty development.

* Engages in the School of Nursing's Strategic Evaluation Plan.

* Actively participate in the School of Nursing community including attendance at faculty meetings as indicated.

* Holds an active unencumbered multistate RN license.

* Holds an active, unencumbered APRN license in one or more of the following states: PA, GA, MN, MO, OK, OR, WA.

* Eligible for VT APRN license and willingness to obtain at the time of appointment.

Pay rate is based on number of credits teaching and number of students enrolled.

Requirements:

* Master's Degree required;
Doctorate preferred.

* Minimum 2 years of recent experience as a nurse practitioner

* Active, unencumbered multistate RN license.

* Active, unencumbered APRN license in one or more of the following states: PA, GA, MN, MO, OK, OR, WA

* Eligible for VT APRN license and willingness to obtain at the time of appointment.

* Current National Board Certification in one or more of the following specialties:
Psychiatric-Mental Health NP, Family NP, Acute Care Adult Gerontology NP

* Current clinical practice as a nurse practitioner

* Evidence of effective teaching

* Service to profession or community through membership in professional or community service organizations

* Commitment to contribute to the diversity and excellence of the academic community
