Position: Adjunct Faculty - Athletic Training - Norwich University
Job Description:

The Department of Health and Human Performance is seeking to add to our adjunct pool to teach courses serving the Master of Athletic Training program. This is for in-person, hybrid, or online instruction based on the course needs. This position is for the  academic year on the Norwich University campus, located in Northfield, Vermont. Adjunct faculty teach part-time on a course-by-course basis.

Assignments are dependent on pending student enrollment, program needs, and expertise of the candidate.

Candidates must demonstrate a strong commitment to teaching, student retention, and recruitment.

Salary is based on number of credits assigned.

Requirements:

* Minimum of a Masters degree (terminal academic or clinical doctorate preferred) leading to advanced practice in one of the domains of Athletic Training (Injury and illness prevention and wellness promotion;
Examination Assessment, and Diagnosis;
Immediate and emergency response; Therapeutic intervention; Health care administration and professional responsibility).

* Athletic training faculty must be certified and in good standing with the Board of Certification for Athletic Trainers, have a National Provider Identification (NPI) number, and possess Vermont state licensure as an Athletic Trainer at time of employment.

* 3 years of clinical experience in the field of Athletic Training
