Job Description:
Norwich University's School of Criminology and Criminal Justice invites applications for a full-time renewable Lecturer in Criminal Justice and Criminology beginning July 2026, to teach eight courses per academic year, to include criminal justice and criminology courses. Lecturers have student advising responsibilities and may serve on school, college, and/or university committees as assigned by the Director.
The residential program of the School of School of Criminology and Criminal Justice at Norwich University emphasizes the importance of evidence-based knowledge in understanding crime policy, programs and practice. It also strives to cultivate commitment to the principles of justice, ethics, public service and the development of leadership skills in its students. With over 300 students enrolled in our residential undergraduate programs, criminal justice is the most popular major at Norwich.
Requirements:
Minimum qualifications include a Master's degree in a relevant or related field (e.g., criminal justice or criminology) by the start date and documented success and experience teaching criminal justice or criminology courses at the college level.
Preferred qualifications include a PhD in a relevant or related field (e.g., criminal justice or criminology) by the start date.
