Job OverviewThis role supports individuals actively pursuing a BCBA credential by providing practicum supervision in a full‑time position. Candidates will serve as a case supervisor for 2–4 client cases, manage RBT teams, and develop behavior intervention plans. Successful completion sets the stage for a guaranteed BCBA role at Soar following exam passage.
Responsibilities- Serve as a case supervisor for 2–4 client cases, handling 10–20 paid unrestricted hours per week
- Update client goals and programming using our electronic data collection platform
- Supervise and provide direct oversight to a team of RBTs
- Participate in ESDM‑specific trainings to expand clinical skillset
- Write Behavior Intervention Plans using Practical Functional Assessment (PFA) and Skill‑Based Treatment (SBT)
- Conduct Family Treatment Guidance meetings with families, employing Soar’s in‑house curriculum
- Prepare assessment reports for new clients and re‑assessments for established clients, including training on Vineland, QABF, FAST, and the ESDM Curriculum Checklist
- Collaborate in interdisciplinary meetings with Speech‑Language Pathologists, Occupational Therapists, and Psychologists
- Deliver direct client therapy 15–25 hours per week (subject to center needs)
- Enrolled in or have recently completed a Master’s program in ABA
- Within 400–600 practicum hours (or less) to be eligible for the BCBA exam
- Excellent rapport‑building and trust skills with families as a behavior therapist
- Emerging skills in case conceptualization, client programming, and planning
- Emerging skills in coaching and supervising RBTs for ESDM therapy
- Strong desire to learn, grow, and accept feedback
