Job Description

A Metal Polisher position is available for the first shift in the United States. The role involves polishing, buffing, and finishing almost finished metal work pieces to enhance smoothness and appearance, removing oxidization after other fabrication processes.

• Use machinery and abrasive tools such as wheels and vibratory finishers.
• Operate polishing equipment, remove imperfections, and ensure adherence to quality standards.
• Polish stainless‑steel metal components for clean finishes.
• Fettling, grinding, deburring, and polishing out weld seams.
• Grinding burs off metal pieces, inspecting parts, and finishing parts using tools and machines.
• Hold and move metal parts against sanding and polishing belts.
• Maintain reliable and consistent attendance, being punctual, dependable, and flexible to schedule changes.
• Execute each essential duty satisfactorily.
• Follow all safety procedures, wear PPE, attend safety meetings, and report safety issues.
• Work effectively as a team member, give and receive feedback, and treat everyone respectfully.
• Take ownership of work, accept accountability, encourage solutions, and communicate status of work/projects.
• Follow department quality standards and criteria.
• Raise concerns and issues to management.
• Understand the department’s KPIs and help achieve these goals.

• Refine surfaces to meet specific standards.
• Clean and inspect parts.
• Ensure adherence to safety protocols.
• Improve the quality and appearance of items.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.

• High school diploma or equivalent education and work experience.
• Ability to inspect each piece for flaws or cracks to ensure it meets specifications and quality standards.
• Ability to interpret written, oral, diagram, or schedule form instructions.
• Ability to adapt and adjust plans to meet changing needs.
• Willingness to learn new skills and/or assist as needed.

• Experience in grinding, polishing & sanding.
• Bilingual Spanish.

• Walking, standing, bending at the neck, bending at the waist, squatting, kneeling.
• Repetitive use of hands, simple grasping, power grasping, fine manipulation.
• Pushing and pulling, reaching above and below the shoulder.
• Carrying/lifting up to 100 lbs.
• Working around equipment and machinery.
• Exposure to excessive noise, dust, gas, fumes, or chemicals.
• Working at heights.

• Safety glasses
• Gloves (e.g., leather or disposable; heat, cut, and/or chemical resistant)
• Leather top, slip‑resistant, safety toe shoes
• Hearing protection (e.g., ear plugs, earmuffs)
• Face shields
• Face covering (mask) in accordance with company policy

Hourly rate: $20.00–$25.00 per hour. Salary may vary based on experience.

Recruiting timelines vary; the position accepts applications for at least five business days from the posting date, but may be shortened or extended. Applicants must pass a drug and background check if required and provide proof of eligibility to work in the United States.
