Support Lead Part Time

Position Type:
Hourly. Starting Salary: $17.79 per hour.

• Ensures all crew members are wowing the customer through personal contact.
• Trains crew on the B.E.S.T. customer service experience to provide fast, friendly checkout.
• Helps oversee daily activities of all store associates, ensuring effective performance and excellent customer service.
• Assists with receiving, unpacking, and organizing new stock for quick floor placement.
• Acts as Manager on Duty when needed, taking responsibility for store operations, staff management, customer service, and urgent issue resolution.
• Manages opening and closing procedures, securing cash, locking doors, setting alarms, ensuring smooth daily operation.
• Supports onboarding and ongoing training of associates on store policies, product knowledge, and procedures.
• Drives store sales and controls expenses by boosting sales through merchandising, staff performance, and customer service.
• Partners with leadership team in merchandising procedures and recovery.
• Performs store maintenance, including garbage removal, sweeping, bathroom cleaning, and stockroom upkeep.

• High School Graduate or equivalent.
• College experience preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of management experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to multi‑task.
• Creative thinking.
• Ability to maintain composure under pressure.

• Operate cash register frequently.
• Move merchandise weighing up to 25 lbs and handle items up to 5–10 feet high.
• Ascend/descend ladders to retrieve and put away stock.
• Position self to kneel, bend, twist, and stoop, including in stockroom and sales floor.
• Communicate and exchange information with customers over the telephone and face‑to‑face.
• Assist customers across sales floor and retrieve/put away merchandise from stockroom.
• Work flexible schedule including day, evening, weekends, overnight shifts, and travel as required.
• Identify and decipher email and print instructions for merchandise layouts, associate schedules, and SOPs.
• Maintain a stationary upright position for 80% of the time.
• Pay $17.79 per hour.
