Andy's House is a transportation company, but our work goes beyond getting people from point A to point

B. We serve people who can't always get there on their own: patients heading to dialysis, seniors going to appointments, and residents of care facilities who count on us to show up. We take that commitment seriously, and we're looking for a dispatcher who does too.

At a small company like ours, dispatch is the heart of everything. When dispatch runs well, our clients get where they need to go, our drivers feel supported, and the whole company succeeds. The job is a lot like air traffic control: rides are coming in, drivers are on the road, clients are waiting, and Denver traffic isn't cooperating. You'll be the one fitting the pieces together in real time so that every client gets where they need to go, on time and safely.

This role carries real responsibility, and we're looking for someone ready to own it from day one.

• Schedule, assign, and adjust rides throughout the day to keep the schedule running smoothly

• Solve routing and timing problems on the fly as delays, cancellations, and add-ons come in

• Communicate with drivers throughout the day and support them through stressful situations

• Take calls from clients, families, and facilities with professionalism and warmth

• Keep clients informed when timing changes, so no one is left waiting without an answer

• Manage trips and records in our dispatch software

• Step in and drive a route yourself when needed to keep our commitment to a client

• Flexible above all. Plans change constantly, and you adapt without losing your cool.

• Driven by a sense of urgency. Many of our clients use wheelchairs and can't just hop in any car. They depend on us to get them where they need to go safely and on time. You understand that a late pickup affects a real person, and you treat every delay as a problem to solve right now, not later.

• Strong on the phone. You stay clear, calm, and professional, even with a frustrated caller.

• Balanced with people. You're firm without being aggressive and supportive without being a pushover. Drivers trust you because you're steady.

• Familiar with the Denver metro area. You know the neighborhoods, the traffic patterns, and how long it really takes to get from Aurora to Lakewood at 4 p.m.

• Someone who cares about our clients, our drivers, and the company you work for.

• Proven experience in transportation dispatch, preferably NEMT, paratransit, or medical transportation

• Valid Colorado driver's license and the ability to drive company vehicles when needed

• Ability to pass a background check and drug screen

• Availability for weekend coverage when a teammate is out sick or on vacation

Monday–Friday, 9:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m., with occasional weekend coverage

$24–$32 per hour, depending on experience
