Our client, a leading organization in the technology and data management sector, is seeking a Data Center Technician - I&A Logistics Support 1 to join their dedicated team. As a Data Center Technician - I&A Logistics Support 1, you will be an integral part of the Operations Department supporting the Data Center Logistics team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong attention to detail, proactive problem-solving skills, and excellent communication abilities, which will align successfully within the organization.
Job Title: Data Center Technician - I&A Logistics Support 1
Location: Northlake, IL
Pay Range: $25 - $26/hr
What's the Job?
- Perform physical inventory tracking and staging to ensure accuracy and compliance
- Coordinate and execute incoming and outgoing deliveries, including purchase order receiving and rack movement activities
- Assist with inventory cycle audits, data corrections, and regulatory compliance activities within the Data Center environment
- Manage material movement, shipping, and receiving processes according to standard procedures
- Support the destruction of data-bearing devices following documented procedures and runbooks
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- At least 2 years of experience in warehouse, supply chain, or related fields within an IT environment
- Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Excel, Word)
- Previous experience working in a data center environment is preferred
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
