Job Summary
Odyssey Contract Warehousing (OCW), division of Odyssey Logistics & Technology Corporation, is a leading provider of integrated warehousing, distribution, and terminal operations. We specialize in food‑grade, hazmat, and temperature‑controlled facilities.
We are hiring a Forklift Operator (Propane) in Northlake, IL to support our growing warehouse operations.
Location & ScheduleNorthlake, IL, USA – on‑site warehouse.
- Full‑time position, Second Shift
- Range $18‑$19 per hour (depending on experience)
- Operate forklifts and related equipment to load, unload, and transport materials.
- Safely handle palletized goods, raw materials, and finished products.
- Conduct daily equipment inspections and report maintenance issues.
- Maintain accurate inventory records of movement and transactions.
- Support warehouse organization through staging, racking, and replenishing.
- Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean, orderly work environment.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as required, including manual loading/unloading.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Propane forklift and railcar experience required.
- 1+ year of forklift operation in a warehouse.
- Ability to safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy and safety.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
Desired
- Current forklift certification.
- Experience in food‑grade, hazmat, or temperature‑controlled warehouses.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS).
