Job Summary

Odyssey Contract Warehousing (OCW), division of Odyssey Logistics & Technology Corporation, is a leading provider of integrated warehousing, distribution, and terminal operations. We specialize in food‑grade, hazmat, and temperature‑controlled facilities.

We are hiring a Forklift Operator (Propane) in Northlake, IL to support our growing warehouse operations.

Northlake, IL, USA – on‑site warehouse.

• Full‑time position, Second Shift

• Range $18‑$19 per hour (depending on experience)

• Operate forklifts and related equipment to load, unload, and transport materials.
• Safely handle palletized goods, raw materials, and finished products.
• Conduct daily equipment inspections and report maintenance issues.
• Maintain accurate inventory records of movement and transactions.
• Support warehouse organization through staging, racking, and replenishing.
• Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean, orderly work environment.
• Assist with other warehouse duties as required, including manual loading/unloading.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Propane forklift and railcar experience required.
• 1+ year of forklift operation in a warehouse.
• Ability to safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy and safety.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.

Desired

• Current forklift certification.
• Experience in food‑grade, hazmat, or temperature‑controlled warehouses.
• Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS).
