Registered Nurse (RN) – PRN | Every Other Weekend | 8-Hour Shifts
PRN | Hunter Creek Health & Rehabilitation | Northport, AL
Base Pay: $31.00-$40.40 per hour (based on experience)
Schedule:
- Every Other Weekend
- 3p-11p and 11p-7a Shifts
- 8-Hour Shifts
- PRN
As a PRN Registered Nurse (RN), you'll provide exceptional nursing care to residents in our skilled nursing and long‑term care community while collaborating with an experienced interdisciplinary team dedicated to delivering outstanding, resident‑centered care.
Registered Nurse (RN) Responsibilities- Provide direct nursing care to residents in a skilled nursing, rehabilitation, and long‑term care setting.
- Assess, monitor, and document changes in resident conditions.
- Administer medications, treatments, and nursing interventions according to physician orders.
- Develop and implement individualized resident care plans.
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, nurse practitioners, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate quality resident care.
- Maintain accurate electronic nursing documentation in accordance with state and federal regulations.
- Respond promptly to changes in resident condition and communicate clinical concerns appropriately.
- Supervise and support Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) and Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs).
- Promote resident safety, infection prevention, and quality improvement initiatives.
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing.
- Current CPR/BLS certification.
- Experience in skilled nursing, rehabilitation, long‑term care, post‑acute care, or geriatric nursing is preferred but not required.
- Strong clinical assessment, communication, and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within an interdisciplinary healthcare team.
