Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – Float Nurse | Day Shift (7:00 AM–3:00 PM)

Full-Time | Park Manor Health & Rehabilitation | Northport, AL

Base Pay: $25.00-$29.55 per hour (based on experience)

Shift: 7:00 AM-3:00 PM

Park Manor Health & Rehabilitation is seeking a compassionate and flexible Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Float Nurse to join our skilled nursing and rehabilitation team on the 7:00 AM-3:00 PM day shift.

As a Float Nurse, you'll support multiple nursing units, providing exceptional resident care wherever you're needed most. This role is ideal for an LPN who enjoys variety, works well in a fast-paced environment, and takes pride in helping both residents and fellow team members succeed.

• Provide direct nursing care to residents in a skilled nursing, rehabilitation, and long-term care setting.
• Float between nursing units to support resident care and staffing needs.
• Assess, monitor, and document changes in resident conditions.
• Administer medications, treatments, and nursing interventions according to physician orders.
• Collaborate with Registered Nurses (RNs), physicians, therapists, and interdisciplinary team members.
• Maintain accurate electronic nursing documentation.
• Supervise and support Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs).
• Respond promptly to changes in resident condition.
• Promote resident safety, infection prevention, and quality care throughout the facility.

• Current Alabama Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in good standing.
• Current CPR/BLS certification.
• Experience in skilled nursing, rehabilitation, long-term care, post-acute care, or geriatric nursing is preferred but not required.
• Strong clinical assessment, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to adapt quickly while working across multiple nursing units.
