Physical Therapist
This position requires working Monday to Friday from 8 AM to 4:30 PM. One weekend per month is required, along with holiday coverage. You will manage a patient load of 6 patients per day in inpatient and acute units and may be required to float as necessary. Responsibilities include completing all aspects of care for assigned patients, including evaluations, formulating plans of care, and collaborating with patients, families, and other disciplines.
You will perform therapeutic interventions, provide education, and meet all documentation requirements outlined in the department. Experience with geriatric, neurological, stroke, and amputation patients is essential. Candidates must be able to handle physical demands such as pushing, pulling, bending, and lifting. Exposure to bodily fluids, diseases, and hazardous materials may occur, and the use of protective equipment may be required.
This role requires a reliable, responsible, and cooperative attitude towards team members and patients. Candidates must have normal vision and hearing or corrected to normal limits and must be able to tolerate prolonged periods of sitting and/or standing. You must be able to perform the duties with or without reasonable accommodation. Physical presence on-site is essential for this position.
