Provide customer service to staff, patients, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities in a healthcare location;
Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns to site leadership when needed;
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions;
Monitor entrances, exits, and high-traffic areas to help to control access, support visitor screening processes, and assist with directions or general assistance;
Support hospital operations by assisting with de-escalation, reporting hazards or maintenance concerns, and communicating clearly with staff and emergency responders during routine and urgent events
