As a Security Officer Unarmed Rover in Northport, AL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, where you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and support staff, patients, and visitors with exceptional customer service and communication.

Pay Rate: $18.00 / Hour
Job Schedule
Mon 02:00 PM – 10:00 PM
Tue 02:00 PM – 10:00 PM
Fri 02:00 PM – 10:00 PM
Sat 02:00 PM – 10:00 PM
Sun 02:00 PM – 10:00 PM
- Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or vendors by carrying out security‑related procedures, location‑specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner, and report details according to site protocols.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, entry points, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual conditions.
- Monitor access points and visitor activity, assist with directions and general assistance, and support a professional environment for everyone at the location.
- Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.
- A guard card and/or license is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
