Trade Operative Multi Skilled with Joinery capabilities (Permanent)
LocationWeaver Vale Housing Trust, Gadbrook Point, Rudheath Way, Northwich, CW9 7LL
. The role is based at Gadbrook Park, Northwich, and will work across the Trust’s core locations in Warrington and Cheshire.
Permanent. Working 40 hours per week plus out‑of‑hours callout rota.
Salary£37,464.05 per annum plus van, fuel card, uniform and tools provided.
ResponsibilitiesAs an Advanced Multi‑Skilled Operative you will carry out a range of planned, cyclical, void and responsive repair works. Duties include plastering, brickwork, roofing, joinery and plumbing on tenanted and empty homes. You will work safely, follow specific guidelines, assess risk and maintain ongoing health and safety training.
Minimum Requirements- Completed a recognised trade apprenticeship to City and Guilds, NVQ or equivalent qualification standard.
- Experience working in domestic or commercial environments on building works.
- Ability to complete a variety of trades to a high standard including, but not limited to, joinery, plastering, tiling, plumbing and brickwork.
- Willingness to undertake further qualifications in health and safety and general management.
- Full clean UK driving licence.
- Will be required to undergo a DBS check.
