Manufacturing Engineer | Norton Shores, MI
Salary Range: $70,000 - $109,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity
We are partnering with organizations in Norton Shores that are seeking Manufacturing Engineers. These companies are committed to building strong teams and are looking for professionals who can lead initiatives effectively. Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and optimize manufacturing processes for new and existing products.
- Implement and maintain production equipment, tooling, and fixtures to ensure operational efficiency.
- Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for manufacturing defects and process deviations.
- Develop and execute process validation protocols to ensure product quality and regulatory compliance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design, quality, and production, to improve manufacturability and reduce costs.
- Utilize statistical process control (SPC) and other analytical tools to monitor and improve process performance.
- Create and maintain detailed manufacturing documentation, including work instructions, process flowcharts, and engineering specifications.
- Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment, with a focus on process improvement and optimization.
- Proficiency in Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies, with demonstrated experience in applying these principles.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, including machining, assembly, automation, and quality control.
- Experience with CAD software (e.g., Solid Works, AutoCAD) and simulation tools.
- Additional certifications or training
