Valley Hope has an exciting opportunity for a Grant Administrator to join our Valley Hope Foundation team! This position will be based out of our offices located in Norton, KS.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCERequired:
- Two (2) years of work experience in an office setting
- Valid unrestricted driver’s license
Preferred:
- Bachelor's degree in social services, public administration, public health, business or related field; or equivalent work experience.
- Previous work experience in non-profit fundraising or project management role
- Donor database administration experience

- Develops funder reports in accordance with grant requirements and deadlines and share with supervisor.
- Assists the Grant Manager with grant writing and letters of intent for funding.
- Maintains and enhances the grants database/CRM, including data entry, report building, and data pulls.
- Adheres to current grant team processes and identifies process improvements when applicable.
- Tracks grant-related expenditures to support stewardship, reporting, and compliance.
- Research and identify mission-aligned grant opportunities and report to supervisor.
- Coordinates post-award grant management, including compliance tracking, publicity requirements, and stewardship activities.
- Periodically assists with and supports grant-related audits to ensure funds are used in accordance with award terms and regulatory requirements.
- Coordinates with other departments to gather information needed for grants applications, reporting, and compliance.
- Participates in all assigned staff meetings, staff development, and training as required.
- Adheres to Valley Hope’s philosophies, policies, and procedures as well as any other regulating bodies.
- Interacts and communicates with others (patients, co-workers, management, and vendors) in a professional and tactful manner including treating them with respect and consideration regardless of their status or position.
- Office setting with traditional hours, weekend and evening hours may be required.
- Sitting for extended periods of time up to 4 hours.
- Must be able to work at a rapid pace for long periods of time.
- Able to lift and carry at least 20 pounds.
- Must be able to travel – estimated at up to 20% of the time.
