Job Summary
We are looking for two Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) for 6‑2 shift, full‑time hours, over a 13‑week period. The positions are for five days a week, including every other Saturday and Sunday.
Schedule6 a.m. – 2 p.m., first shift on Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and every other weekend day.
Resident BackgroundMy residents come from a very small, rural community with limited exposure to diversity. At times, this can result in challenges when they interact with caregivers of different backgrounds. A few of our female residents are not comfortable receiving care from male staff, which can make scheduling and staffing a bit more complex. We always aim to provide respectful, individualized care and do our best to navigate these sensitivities thoughtfully.
Housingand Meals
- Facility provided housing – guest room in assisted living facility, about a mile west of town.
- Private bathroom with shower and lock on the door.
- Traveler can use laundry facilities.
- 3 meals daily and access to kitchen.
- Free meals while working.
- Accepting COVID‑vaccine exemptions.
- Bird cage at facility; no other pets.
- Matrix charting system.
