Inside Sales/Customer Service Representative

Green Garden Products, a subsidiary of Central Garden & Pet, is now seeking an Inside Sales/Customer Service Representative to work onsite Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm at the Norton, MA facility. This is a non-exempt, full time position. The pay for this position ranges from $15 - $18 per hour, based on experience.

• Spend 75-90% of time on the phone, high volume of inbound and outbound sales calls to existing retail customers and new prospective customers
• Maintain detailed notes about interactions with customers and prospects
• Grow the company's customer base by onboarding new retailers and distributors
• Manage and cross sell to a large group of current accounts
• Provide excellent customer service by communicating in a professional manner, resolving any issues when answering incoming calls
• Handle, resolve, and escalate customer issues to ensure customer satisfaction
• Other duties as required to help the success of the department or team.

• High School diploma or equivalent
• 1-2 years in customer service preferred but not required
• High energy and love of speaking to customers/prospects
• Good team partnership
• Computer literacy with MS Office required
• Well organized and responsible with an aptitude in problem-solving
• Excellent communication, sales, and customer service skills
• The ability to work independently and multitask, work in a fast-paced environment, and meet deadlines
