Job Summary

The Department of Creative Arts seeks an instructor to teach one section of Drawing I and/or one section of 2D Design in the Fall 2026 semester. Courses have about 20 students each and are scheduled for 5:30-7:20 pm on M/W and T/Th evenings respectively.

• Plan and deliver instruction for Drawing I and/or 2D Design.
• Use Canvas Learning Management System to post syllabus, assignments and grades.
• Adapt or use existing syllabi and project outlines as needed.

• MA or MFA in Visual/Fine Art.

• Collegiate teaching experience.

The anticipated hiring or recruitment range for this position is $5,000 per course. The salary will be commensurate with qualifications, education and experience of the candidate.
