Job Summary
The Department of Film, Media, and Communications seeks an affiliate instructor of animation to teach FNMS 264 Intro to Animation. The course requires instruction and oversight of hand‑drawn 2D animation projects that introduce primary animation skills such as timing, spacing, the 12 Principles of Animation, believable acting, and professional workflows.
Minimum Qualifications- Experience teaching animation at the college level.
- Demonstration of advanced command of animation principles, technical workflows, and creative excellence as evidenced through short animated projects.
Anticipated hiring or recruitment range: $6,500 per course. Salary will be commensurate with qualifications, education, and experience.
