• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to read and locate plant material in the yard
• Physical abilities include working in weather conditions such as the heat, cold, and rain. Walking, bending, and kneeling for extended periods of time. Ability to lift and unload plant materials up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to manage high stress and fast paced environment
• Required to be clean and neat to have a professional appearance
• Work independently on assigned nursery tasks
• Proactively identify work that needs to be done and following through to completion
• Ability to work respectively as a team with co-workers
• Timely and dependable attendance
• Energetic, friendly, self-motivated
• Day time and weekend availability

• 2-5 years in the nursery/ landscape industry
• Retail and/ or wholesale experience
• Plant, pest, disease identification

Working with our wholesale and retail customers to provide them with the proper plants. Selling includes walking the nursery to locate the plants and the ability to finalize all sales. Utilizing the program for pricing and sizing information. An associate will be arranging attractive displays, creating perennial beds for customers, pruning (perennials, annuals, and roses). Identifying pests or diseases affecting the plants.

Care for specific watering needs of perennials and annuals.
