Position: Truck Driver - CDL Class A - Penske Logistics

Immediate Opportunities:
Full‑time Local Class A CDL Truck Drivers

Average $85000 annually

Additional scanning and safety incentives available, up to $6200

Tuesday through Saturday

Home daily

Dedicated route

What you will do:
  • Perform multi‑stop deliveries of parts and supplies to automotive dealerships
  • Unload trailer using manual pallet jacks, hand trucks, and rolling cages
  • Use scanner to scan products as they are unloaded and delivered
Schedule:
  • Tuesday through Saturday
  • 1:50 AM start time
You will drive:
  • Late model, Penske‑maintained trucks
  • Best‑in‑class specs designed for comfort and safety
  • Equipped with inward and outward facing in‑cab cameras ensuring safety for all

As a Penske driver, you’ll represent both Penske and your clients, likely driving branded trucks and wearing their uniforms.

Qualifications:
  • Valid Class A CDL required. Applicants must be domiciled in the U.S. and licensed in their state of residence.
  • Non‑exempted interstate DOT medical card required or ability to obtain one.
  • 1 year of documented tractor‑trailer experience in the last 3 years, or 2 years in the last 5 years.
  • 3 years DMV/MVR record with two or fewer moving violations or accidents.
  • Follow all federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or agency rules, standards and guidelines.
  • Regular, predictable, full‑attendance is essential.
  • English language proficiency required for compliance with federal law (49 C.F.R. 391.11(b)(2)).
  • Work the required schedule, work at the required location, complete Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation (including past employment, education, and criminal history) and drug screening.
  • This position is regulated by the Department of Transportation or designated as safety‑sensitive by the company; the ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner is required. Associates must accept responsibility for their own safety and that of others.

  • Must see and hear. Specific vision requirements include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
  • Must move frequently, stand, walk, sit, use hands to touch, handle, and feel, and reach with hands and arms. Must lift and/or move up to 50 lbs (23 kg) regularly and up to 100 lbs (45 kg) occasionally.
  • Must legally operate a motor vehicle and safely and frequently enter/exit the vehicle and rear cargo area.
