Why This Role Exists

Wagner Machine Inc. is expanding capacity within its large-part machining operations. With over 65 years in business and AS9100 Rev. D / ISO 9001:2015 certification, Wagner supports customers across aerospace and heavy industrial markets.

This role plays a key part in machining precision components on a 5” CNC Horizontal Boring Mill in a true high-mix job shop environment.

This is not a production-line position. It is hands-on machining where setup skill, blueprint interpretation, and craftsmanship matter.

The Work You’ll Be Doing

In this role, you will:

  • Set up and operate a 5” CNC Horizontal Boring Mill
  • Perform complete setups including tooling, offsets, and work holding
  • Make program adjustments at the machine as required

  • Read and interpret blueprints and GD&T
  • Perform in-process inspections using precision measuring tools
  • Adjust feeds, speeds, and tooling to maintain quality and efficiency
  • Work independently while collaborating with engineering and quality teams

You will be machining both large and small components in a professional, process-driven environment.
