School-Based Occupational Therapist (OT) – Full-Time | Norwalk, CA |  School Year

Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapists (OTs) to support students within a school district in the Norwalk, California area for the  school year.

As a School-Based Occupational Therapist, you will work collaboratively with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to help students develop the skills necessary to participate successfully in their educational environment. Responsibilities:

• Evaluate students and develop individualized treatment plans based on educational needs
• Provide direct occupational therapy services in accordance with IEP goals
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, parents, and support staff to promote student success
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team discussions
• Maintain accurate documentation, progress reports, and compliance with district and state regulations
• Recommend adaptive equipment, environmental modifications, and strategies to support student participation in the classroom

Qualifications:

• Active California Occupational Therapist License
• Previous pediatric or school-based experience preferred
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to manage a caseload and maintain timely documentation
