School-Based Occupational Therapist (OT) – Full-Time | Norwalk, CA | School Year
Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapists (OTs) to support students within a school district in the Norwalk, California area for the school year.
As a School-Based Occupational Therapist, you will work collaboratively with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to help students develop the skills necessary to participate successfully in their educational environment. This is a full-time opportunity offering a consistent school schedule and the chance to make a meaningful impact on students’ academic and functional success.

Responsibilities:
- Evaluate students and develop individualized treatment plans based on educational needs
- Provide direct occupational therapy services in accordance with IEP goals
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, parents, and support staff to promote student success
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team discussions
- Maintain accurate documentation, progress reports, and compliance with district and state regulations
- Recommend adaptive equipment, environmental modifications, and strategies to support student participation in the classroom
Qualifications:
- Active California Occupational Therapist License
- Previous pediatric or school-based experience preferred
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to manage a caseload and maintain timely documentation
