Senior Regional EHS Manager JP

A large North American food manufacturer is looking to bring on a Senior Regional EHS Manager to oversee safety and environmental compliance across multiple facilities in California. This role is a key part of the organization's EHS team and will lead efforts to foster a strong safety culture, ensure environmental compliance, and drive positive culture change.

• Collaborate with Plant Leadership to drive cultural change and achieve EHS&S regulatory compliance, organizational goals, and continuous improvement.
• Develop, implement, and manage EHS programs, policies, and procedures in line with legal and corporate standards.
• Oversee EHS processes across 5 sites
• Conduct regular environmental and safety audits, evaluate workplace hazards, and recommend risk-reduction solutions.
• Maintain existing Environmental Compliance programs
• Research and stay updated on federal, state/provincial, and local regulations to ensure ongoing environmental compliance
• Identify and implement safety and environmental compliance improvements.
• Support accident and near-miss investigations, ensuring root cause analysis and corrective action tracking.
• Track, analyze, and report safety performance.
• Travel as needed to support facilities in California

• 5+ years of experience in EHS within a manufacturing setting (preferably food manufacturing).
• Bachelor's degree in OHS or related field or equivalent experience preferred.
• CSP/ASP/GSP preferred.
• Experience supporting large manufacturing facilities (multi-site experience is an asset)
• Able to work on-site and travel roughly 25% across northern & southern California to support business needs. Preference is to report out of Ontario or Newark, CA
