Production Supervisor – Norwalk, CA area

Salary: $65-79K per year - 1st shift opportunity

Production Management

• Oversee daily operations of the press area.
• Monitor production schedules/workflows to ensure production targets are achieved.
• Implement and maintain efficient manufacturing processes, standard operating procedures.
• Identify and resolve production issues to minimize downtime.
• Manage inventory levels of supplies and materials required for production operations.

Quality Assurance

• Implement and enforce quality control standards and procedures to ensure consistent product quality.
• Conduct inspections and monitor production output to identify defects and non-conformities.
• Partner with Quality Assurance teams to investigate quality concerns and implement corrective actions.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives aimed at reducing waste, improving quality, and increasing efficiency.

Reporting and Documentation

• Maintain accurate records related to production output, quality metrics, equipment performance.
• Prepare and present reports regarding production status, quality performance/productivity.
• Ensure all required documentation is completed accurately.

Resource Management

• Effectively manage labor, materials, equipment, and other resources.
• Coordinate with cross-functional departments to ensure smooth workflow and effective communication.
• Support capacity planning and resource allocation to meet production demands.

• Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing or Operations Management.
• Minimum of three (3) years of manufacturing or production experience required.
• Previous supervisor or team lead experience preferred.
• Flexographic printing experience preferred.
