Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to join our team at Studebaker Healthcare Center in Norwalk, California. As a member of our interdisciplinary team, you will provide high-quality care to our residents, ensuring their physical, psycho-social, and spiritual needs are met.
Job ResponsibilitiesImplement the established plan of care for each assigned group of residents under the direct supervision of a registered nurse
Provide total care for chronically ill and technologically dependent residents, including administration of medications and performance of treatments
Develop and maintain a record of the care provided to each resident
Collaborate with all levels of nursing personnel, physicians, and department managers to provide individualized resident care
Provide resident assessment-related education and maintain knowledge of age-specific care
Current, valid Licensed Vocational Nurse licensure to practice in the State of California
Current BCLS certification
LVN graduate from an accredited School of Nursing
At least six months prior LVN experience in a general acute care hospital setting or acquired equivalent competency in a similar setting
Must be able to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical information, and to communicate effectively in the English language
Competitive hourly rate: $32 - $43
