The PCA III oversees and coordinates all PCA staff work and ensures they comply with licensed providers' and other staff members’ orders. In the absence of the PCA Supervisor, this position seeks direction and oversight from the Center Manager and Nursing Supervisor. The position is an IDT member and works with the PCA I, II, and assigned RN/LVN/HCC LVN using the PCA III communication tool to gather information to share at the IDT meetings.

This position helps support PACE participants’ engagement in satisfaction surveys, IDT discussions, physical and mental well-being, and overall cost containment of participants’ supplies.

• Oversee and coordinate all PCA staff work, ensuring compliance with provider orders.
• Serve as an IDT member and collaborate with PCA I, II, and assigned staff using communication tools.
• Support PACE participants engagement in surveys, IDT discussions, physical and mental well-being, and cost containment of supplies.
• Identify and train on competency for PCAs.
• Assist PCA Supervisor in coordinating team assignments, workflow, disciplinary actions, and performance evaluations.

• Certified Nursing Aide education and training;
  Nurse Assistant Certificate by the State of California, Department of Health and Human Services – Aid and Technician Certification.
• High school diploma required; some college education/credits preferred.
• California Food Handler Certificate of Achievement preferred, must be attained within 30 days of employment.
• Prior experience working with physically or mentally impaired older people strongly preferred.
• Bilingual in English/Spanish/Mandarin/Cantonese depending on location preferred.
• Experience working with the elderly patient population.
• Valid BLS certification or higher, following the American Heart Association (AHA) or the American Red Cross guidelines.

$25.75 - $32.19 hourly. Actual salary offers are considered by various factors, including budget, experience, skills, education, licensure and certifications, and other business considerations. The range is subject to change.
