Compensation

$85,000 - $90,000 + per year

Position Summary

A growing high-technology manufacturing company is seeking a Senior Manufacturing Accountant to oversee and manage core accounting operations in a fast-paced production environment. This role is responsible for advanced accounting functions, financial reporting, payroll support, monthly close activities, and assisting with audits and financial analysis.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, analytical, and capable of working independently while supporting operational and financial objectives.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  • Perform advanced accounting activities within a manufacturing environment
  • Review, verify, and code accounting transactions for accurate distribution
  • Research and resolve discrepancies, omissions, and account variances
  • Support monthly close processes, including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial statement preparation
  • Maintain accounting records and assist with payroll and retirement plan administration
  • Assist with financial audits and supporting documentation
  • Supervise and provide guidance to accounting support staff
  • Support financial analysis initiatives and provide recommendations for process improvement
  • Ensure compliance with accounting policies, procedures, and reporting requirements
  • Perform additional accounting and finance-related duties as assigned
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration preferred
  • 2+ years of senior-level accounting experience
  • 2+ years of supervisory or team leadership experience
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP and accounting principles
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Office applications
Schedule & Compensation
