Salary: 105,000 to 120,000 with 10% Bonus
We’re hiring a Tax Senior to take full ownership of client engagements—from cleaning up books to delivering accurate tax returns and financials. This is a hands-on, client-facing role with a clear path to leadership or partnership.
What You’ll Do- Prepare and review 1040, 1065, 1120/1120S, 990, and 1041 returns
- Clean up and adjust client books (Quick Books Online/Desktop)
- Manage client relationships end-to-end with minimal supervision
- Deliver tax planning insights, estimates, and advisory support
- Mentor junior staff and begin reviewing peer work
- 4–5 years of tax/accounting experience
- CPA (or close)
- Experience with small businesses / closely held clients
- Ability to handle full-cycle engagements independently (not just a siloed role)
- Proficiency in Ultra Tax CS or similar software
- Direct client exposure and advisory responsibility
- Broad experience beyond compliance (financials, consulting, planning)
- Clear growth path to senior leadership / partner track
- Tech-forward firm with improved work-life balance initiatives
- Full-time, in-office (flexibility available)
- Busy seasons: ~55–60 hours/week (Feb–Apr, Sept–Oct)
