Tax Senior | Public Accounting | $130,000 - $180,000 Base + 10% Bonus | Hybrid (3 Days Onsite) | Norwalk, CT
Tired of being three layers removed from the partners and the clients? Our client, a well-established and growing CPA firm in Norwalk, is hiring a Tax Senior who wants a seat at the table, not a spot in the back office.
At this firm, you won't wait years for someone above you to move on before you advance. The partners here invest in their people, promote from within, and reward performance with year over year raises. You'll work directly with partners from day one, own your client relationships, and lead engagements rather than just supporting them.
Why This Role Stands Out- Strong, clearly defined advancement opportunity, with a real path upward as the firm grows
- Year over year raises that reward your performance
- Direct and immediate access to partners, not layers of middle management
- Direct access to clients, with the autonomy to manage those relationships yourself
- Lead client engagements and build the kind of experience that accelerates careers
You’ll work across a diverse client base with a mix of roughly 60% preparation and 40% review. This is a hands‑on, client‑facing role for someone who enjoys staying close to the work while building toward leadership.
What We’re Looking ForWe’re flexible on level. Whether you’re a Tax Senior ready to step up, or a Supervisor or Manager who doesn’t mind rolling up your sleeves and staying close to the prep work, we want to hear from you.
- 3 to 10 years of public accounting tax experience
- Ultra Tax experience strongly preferred
- CPA or EA a plus
- Comfortable working directly with clients and leading engagements
- Able to work onsite 3 days per week (with some periods requiring more in‑office time)
- $130,000 to $180,000 base salary, depending on experience
- 10% annual bonus
- Consistent, performance‑based raises year after year
