Our client, a highly respected private investment and family office organization, is seeking a Fund Accountant to join their team. This is a unique opportunity to work with a sophisticated and diverse investment portfolio while partnering closely with various business units such as investment, tax, and treasury functions.
This role is ideal for an experienced accounting detail oriented who enjoys investment accounting, process improvement, and working in a dynamic environment.
Responsibilities:
Own accounting and reporting for a diverse investment portfolio, including public equities, fixed income, private investments, and alternative assets Analyze investment reports, custodial statements, and portfolio activity Reconcile investment activity and positions to custodial and manager reporting support month end close activities, financial reporting and audit preparation
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field 4+ years of experience within Fund Accounting Hands-on experience with investment accounting and portfolio reporting experience Exposure to private equity, venture capital, hedge funds, fixed income, or alternative investments CPA or MBA preferred

- At least 4 years of experience in fund accounting or investment-focused accounting roles.
- Practical experience with investment accounting and portfolio reporting in a complex environment.
- Familiarity with asset classes such as private equity, venture capital, hedge funds, fixed income, or other alternative investments.
- Strong analytical and reconciliation skills with close attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively across multiple business functions in a collaborative setting.
- Certification such as CPA or CFA is preferred.
