Overview

Our corporate client in Norwalk, CT is seeking a Senior Payroll and HR Operations Specialist to join their team. This role has a hybrid schedule (3 days in office, 2 days at home) and a salary in the $90k-$105k range plus great benefits.

Responsibilities
  • End-to-End Payroll Management: Oversee and execute multi-state, multi-entity U.S. payroll processing (including biweekly, supplemental, and off-cycle runs), ensuring strict data integrity, tax compliance, and accurate funding reconciliations.
  • HRIS & Data Administration: Serve as the global subject matter expert for HRIS administration, managing system configurations, file integrations, employee lifecycle changes, and organizational data structures to maximize system optimization.
  • Financial & Compliance Partnership: Collaborate closely with Accounting and Finance teams on payroll journals, accruals, and internal audits, while proactively managing jurisdictional tax accounts, compliance notices, and 401(k) nondiscrimination testing.
  • Benefits & Operations Support: Streamline benefits administration by managing enrollments, resolving complex invoice discrepancies, and identifying opportunities to improve operational SOPs and internal controls.
  • Reporting & Data Analytics: Leverage advanced Excel capabilities to build data-driven reports, dashboards, and headcount analytics that support critical compliance and business decision-making.
Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's Deg
ree (or equivalent experience) and a minimum of five years of experie
nce in a wide variety of HR transactional processes and payroll administration.
