Superintendent, Construction

Our client is seeking a Superintendent to oversee daily on-site operations and ensure every project is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality. This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in leading crews with confidence and consistency, while making site safety the top priority. This is an onsite position based in Fairfield County, CT.

Superintendent's Responsibilities and Duties

• Oversee all on-site construction activities and ensure work is performed according to plans, timelines, and standards
• Serve as the primary on-site Safety Officer and enforce safety protocols for all workers and visitors
• Lead daily safety meetings, toolbox talks, and site walkthroughs
• Maintain full PPE at all times and ensure all team members follow the same requirement
• Coordinate subcontractors, deliveries, and inspections to keep the project on schedule
• Monitor work quality and proactively address any issues or delays

Superintendent's Qualifications and Skills

• Proven experience as a Superintendent within construction
• Strong knowledge of construction processes, safety regulations, and on-site coordination
• OSHA certification highly preferred
• Ability to lead teams with confidence and maintain a safe working environment
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Ability to resolve conflicts, manage multiple priorities, and maintain project momentum
• Proficiency with project management tools and daily reporting software
