As an Assistant Project Manager, you’ll play a key role in supporting projects from preconstruction through closeout. You’ll work closely with Project Managers, field teams, subcontractors, architects, and ownership to help keep projects running smoothly, on schedule, and within budget.
Responsibilities Include:- Supporting Project Managers with day‑to‑day project coordination
- Assisting with project scheduling, budgeting, and cost tracking
- Managing RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project documentation
- Coordinating communication between clients, subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams
- Tracking project milestones, deliverables, and progress updates
- Maintaining drawing sets, specifications, CAD files, and construction documents
- Conducting site visits and assisting with quality control and safety efforts
- Supporting project closeout and punch list completion
- Attending meetings and documenting meeting minutes/action items
This role will heavily utilize Procore for project management and documentation control.
Responsibilities include:
- Managing RFIs and submittals from initiation through approval
- Maintaining drawing logs and project documentation
- Tracking budgets, invoices, purchase orders, and change orders
- Updating schedules and monitoring project progress
- Creating daily logs and field reports
- Managing meeting minutes and project records
- Assisting with punch list tracking and project closeout documentation
- Experience in construction project coordination or assistant project management
- Strong proficiency with Procore is required
- Experience managing RFIs, submittals, and change orders
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast‑paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and problem‑solving abilities
- Ability to work collaboratively with both office and field teams
