Civil Foreman - Per Diem

Job Overview

Trillium Construction is hiring a Civil Foreman to work around the Norwalk, CT area. This position involves heavy highway, bridge construction for the reconfiguration of the Walk Bridge. This role may be a 5‑year temp‑hire and can lead to long‑term work with the contractor.

• Oversee a crew of 4‑6 trade workers.
• Drive H piles for foundation work and help rig steel into place.
• Hand dig, drag hoses, and help form and pour concrete for large MSE walls.
• Assist in lining forms for bridge/foundation.
• Plan, organize, and prioritize daily activities in collaboration with the Superintendent.

• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a foreman in roadway or bridge construction.
• Relevant experience in heavy civil construction, bridge or highway work.
• Experience in carpentry, pouring and finishing concrete.
• Experience with piledriving, concrete, and rigging.
• OSHA 10 certification is highly preferred.
• Must wear all required PPE and have proper tools.
• Must pass all pre‑employment screenings.
• Reliable transportation to and from the job site.
• Able to work well with a superintendent to meet project objectives.

Current base pay is $73.22 per hour, with potential increases. Per diem of $125 per day is offered to qualifying candidates. Day shift: 6 AM – 4 PM, Monday‑Friday, with some Saturdays. Hours may total around 50 per week.
