** this position is responsible for providing cashiering services to customers.
** primary duties and responsibilities****:
** includes but not limited to:
* sells and redeems chips
* cashes personal checks and other negotiable instruments
* processes cash advance transactions
* issues and redeems markers, front money, safekeeping deposits and withdrawals
* exchanges foreign currency and processes western union checks
* balances to an impressed amount daily
** secondary duties and responsibilities:
*** assists patrons with information and directions
** minimum education and qualifications:
*** high school diploma or equivalent
* must have previous money handling experience
** competencies:
** incumbent will master the following competencies while in this position:
* good communication and organizational skills
* accurate and timely transactions with patrons
** training requirements:
*** knowledge of acsc, global cash access and erp computer systems
* knowledge of the casino computer management system
** physical demands and work environment:
*** must be able to work in a smoking environment
* must be able to lift up to 25 lbs.
* must be able to stand for extended periods of time
