We are looking for an RDH for 1 or 2 or possibly 2.5 days a week for our small, friendly, 1-dr office. If you can only do 1 day or even .5 day pls apply! The days would preferably be Tues/Wed, but we can discuss.
** pay is per hour, rate will be discussed with candidates based on experience. The estimated info here is provided by ZR and may not be accurate.
The responsibilities and other info below is provided by ZR.## Key## Responsibilities
* Perform oral health assessments and review patients' medical histories
* Clean teeth by removing plaque, tartar, and stains (scaling and polishing)
* Take dental X-rays.
* Apply fluoride treatments and dental sealants
* Educate patients on proper brushing, flossing, and oral hygiene practices
* Screen patients for signs of oral diseases, including gum disease and oral cancer
* Record patient findings and maintain accurate dental records
* Assist the dentist during examinations and treatment planning
* Sterilize dental instruments and ensure infection control procedures are followed
* Provide post-treatment care instructions and schedule follow-up appointments

* Knowledge of dental procedures and infection control
* Manual dexterity and good hand-eye coordination
* Ability to educate and motivate patients about oral health## Qualifications
* Associate's or bachelor's degree in Dental Hygiene from an accredited program
* Valid dental hygienist license as required by the local regulatory authority
* Current certification in CPR/Basic Life Support (BLS)## Company Description Our Uncasville, CT dentistry practice provides dental services including cleanings, examinations, fillings, extractions, crowns, dentures, implant dentistry, and digital X-rays. We use technology such as intraoral cameras to provide quality dental services to patients from all areas of Eastern CT.
