Position Overview:

• Lead a self-contained "SUCCESS" classroom (Grades 3-5) with a focused caseload of 10-12 students, or support students in a Resource model across various elementary campuses.
• Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) using IEP Direct software to monitor progress and make evidence-based adjustments.
• Deliver specialized instruction and academic interventions while collaborating closely with classroom aides and support staff to ensure a safe, inclusive, and effective learning environment.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Special Education
• Valid Connecticut Special Education Certification (165 Endorsement) (Required)
• Proficiency in IEP Direct and data collection for progress monitoring
• Experience in either self-contained "SUCCESS" environments or Resource-based elementary instruction
